Do you need any special paperwork to enter Paris from London?

Special paperwork as in a visa, or can you simply use your passport? I'm planning to visit paris either for an afternoon or overnight.

Depends where your passport is from If a US passport there will be no trouble. (You should love Paris) If taking the chunnel train be aware that trips both ways close together are very expensive. If you can go over a weekend it becomes appreciably cheaper.
