The show will cost you 140 euros a person for dinner and bare breasted girls walking around in absurd costumes while someone warbles a tune. There is nothing sophisticated, cosmopolitan, or glamorous about it. It is pure low brow, impress the yokels from the provinces, titillate the visiting fireman trash. If you would like a delightful and cultured evening with entertainment then I suggest the Bel Canto. This is a lovely restaurant in which the staff are all Opera singers and music students. Its located at 72, quai Hotel de Ville. However be prepared to spend at least one or 2 bottles of medium quality champagne 150 to 250 Eur and some little extra frills. One cannot get rid of the impression that there is definitely a tourist trap aspect to the whole operation. All credit cards accepted. Enjoy! |
