Things to do in Paris apart from museums and cathedrals? |
Travel Info I am going to Paris for 4 days in April. I would like to know what are the things to do and places to see in Paris. I am not interested in visiting museums. Also, I would like to see the French countryside. Is there a places close to Paris where I can go on a day trip. Travel Tips In Paris you can just walk and smell the charm of the city. It will be enough to fall in love with. As for a day trip, you can go to Versailles Palace, or to Euro Disney, or spend a whole day in Bois de Boulogne (don't forget here La Bagatelle). But 4 days in Paris???? It will be not enough to see La Tour Eiffel, Champs Elysees, Quartier Latin, Montmartre and Sacre Coeur, to do a cruise on the Seine or just walk along....Bon voyage ! Others Go to the top of the Eiffle tower and throw eggs at people at the bottom!!!!!!! you could go to mont st michel (its great eat in a french cafe go up the eiffel tower visit le futuroscope(theme park) When I went to Paris I did : Eifel tower louvre verselis palace disney land ( it is very fun for children) Arce de triomphe shampes de elize Noterdame I suggest all of this at least Walk walk walk. And when you're tired from walking... sit in a cafe. Then do it all over again in a different part of the city. Montmartre the Latin Quarter the Marais the Champs Elysees Jardin Luxemburg etc etc etc Don't believe all the travels brochures. I will never return. Had it with Museums and Churches eh? I understand. I sometimes think I've seen more Churches than the Pope. The only reason I still go to such places is because I'm showing someone the city. Paris is a place to just hang out. Good food, good drink, good music venues, and lots of places to just relax. |
