What to do the second time around in Paris?

Travel Info
When I was there for the 1 st time I've seen all the turistic spots and monumets and museums...I'm gonna be there for 10 days...what should I do now? What should I see?

Thanks for help.

Travel Tips
10 days will be long enough for you to start visiting the area around Paris, if you have not already done so.

Visit Versailles (if you haven't already done so)
Go to the medieval town of Provins (accessible by train)
Have a one day trip to Normandy. Again, some seaside resorts are accessible by train (Deauville, Trouville and maybe Houlgate or Cabourg)
Visit the castle of Vaux le Vicomte
Spend some time in the Park of Saint Cloud or the park of Sceaux
Go to Chantilly to visit the horse museum and castle Source(s): Live near Paris and often travel in Ile de France
Other Travel Tips
The neighboring countries.
Anything that you didn't do the first time. Maybe restaurants, shopping, get out of the city and see the countryside.
Well, to begin with I'd bet you haven't seen ALL the Museums unless your first trip lasted several months.

How about the Rodin Museum? The Cluny? The Orangerie? The Museum of Decorative Arts? The Military Museum? The Museum of Plans and Relieffs? Then there's the Mus茅e du Quai Branly which just opened and is devoted to non-Western art.

But okay, maybe you just don't want to see every Museum in Paris anyway. (Frankly, I'm not the world's biggest museum goer either).

What you ought to do is just hang out and get to know the city in a more intimate and personal way.

Wander around and get lost then learn how to find your way back to your hotel. Make yourself a "regular" at some cafe or convivial bar.

Meet people and improve your French language skills (don't have any to begin with...no worries...learn some...why not?).

Seach out little restaurants away from the crowds and the other tourists. Order things from menus even you can't understand what they are and see if you like what you get (or not). Either way, keep a journal about the experience.

Shop at the flea market in St. Ouen and buy something absurd.

Hang out all night in smokey little jazz clubs and drink wine. Pretend you're F. Scott Fitzgerad or Alice B. Toklas and its the 1930's.

Then come back and tell us all about it.
You can see some turistic spots that have not become popular. Check out the Grand Arch and go to an Arrondismont and just take in a Parisians Paris. Now that you have all the turistic things out of the way. Do alot of Shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... The Latin Quarter is my favorite part of Paris. Lots of little spots and a great place to relax. Have fun on your trip!!!
