what is the weather right now? ive seen that it is raining can anyone verify this? is there any websites that can give me up to the minute updates?i am going to be really bummed out if its raining the whole time.
also does anyone know any out of the way or "hole in the wall" places to visit?
oh- one more thing we are staying in the est? hotel does anyone know any thing about it?

as for "hole in the wall" there's a cool irish bar called le galway, on 13 grands augustins, overlooking the seine. it's right by st michel metro stop (line 4).

Weather is fresh in Paris these days, some light rain from time to time. Check AccuWeather website.
Go hang around Sorbonne and Quartier Latin, they are not much touristic and you can feel Paris spirit there.
