I am also married to a French "count" and live in Paris. I do not manage individual tours only Corporate events, but i get asked this a lot from friends and family visiting. Personally, i would rather stay in Marias or the Latin Quarter, it is far more charming, and transportation to all points of inerest is really uncomplicated. However, if you insist on a hotel near the Seine, this hotel is as close as it gets. I have also taken the liberty of of listing some of the most charming and reasonably prices hotels in the Latin Quarter in case you change your mind.
