Travel Tips i have been to paris a few times and have never come across a restaurant thats cheap and perfect at the same time...lol its one of the most expensive places ever. even mcdonalds is expensive in paris. Others Try restaurant Chartier. It's cheap, good (but not the best restaurant in the world). A beautiful place too. It's not perfect, because it's very noisy, but you have to see it: http://www.restaurant-chartier.com/www/... Restaurants often have cheap set menus at lunchtime, but usually not in the evening. Bars: usually expensive. Try cheaper areas such as Belleville. Bars are expensive in the center of Paris. One of my favourites: Le Petit Suisse, 16, rue de Vaugirard, Paris 6e. Never go to bars in famous streets such as Boulevard Saint Michel or Champs Elys茅es. Always go for the little bars in the side-streets. Now that I think of it, there is a new place called Hop Hop Hop, 3, rue Monsieur le Prince (Paris, 6e, it's in the Latin quarter as well). They have a happy hour (6 to 8, I think) and make good cocktails. Otherwise, you can try the bars in the rue Oberkampf (Paris 11e): there are lots of different places there. Not always cheap. as they say not cheap and perfect.think about this:it is paris and it is a vacation.just splurge and enjoy.most restaurants have the prices on the out side window! |
