Do i go through customs in paris?

Travel Info
when coming from manchester u.k.do i go through customs i am a us citizen staying in u.k. and visiting paris for a few days

Travel Tips
well yes you will have to.

UK IS part of the EU but they have not signed the Shengen accord for free circulation of people.

So whenever you enter or leave you need proper documentation.

It shouldn't be too hard though, piece of cake compared to what we have to go through with US Immigration.
Others
Yes, since Paris is your final destination, you would go through customs and immigration processing (in the airport, assuming you're flying). Bring your US passport and fill out the documents they give you on the plane.
World Traveller
Yes you do, since France is part of the european union, and the UK are not. Make sure you comply with the importing/exporting regulations, I know too many people who have left a lot of wine a customs for that reason...
