Travel Info
Does the (carte orange) give discount on trains too?

Travel Tips
The "carte orange" is only for 脦le-de-France, Paris and around. It doesn't work for TGV.
This website could help :)

Just under 2 hours. Cost ranges from 58 to 3 times that depending on class of service.

If you're taking a TGV, then it should take approximately 114 minutes. IWhen I was in France, the carte orange gave a discount of up to 25%, but it depends on a lot of factors (peak times, days of week, how many days ticket was bought in advance).
the carte orange is only for Paris!!!
if you take the TGV (bullet train) it can take 2 hours or 2:30...
For the price: you have a lot of discounts! example: if you are under 26 you have a 25% discount...
Go to http://www.sncf.fr you can try to buy your ticket (it is in french), you will see the price and everything... but stop before paying! lol
the website in english is www.sncf.com. Try http://au.franceguide.com/ for general info on France
