Looking for a washateria (laundramat) in Paris? |
Travel Info I'll be traveling with my husband and 6 yr old daughter this summer. We'll be staying at Le Maridien Etoile, in the 17e area. Do you where would be the closest washataria where I can do my laundry in that area? Also, I am too looking for a quick place to grab breakfast in that area (before we head out for our sightseeing). Travel Tips Assuming you mean Le Meridian Etoile at 81 Boulevard Gouvion Saint-Cyr in the 17th then there is a washateria on Rue de Montenutte, near the corner of Rue Brey which is about 1.5 km away. but ask at your hotel if there is one closer. You can get breakfast (assuming you mean a French breakfast) at any cafe. Just ask for "un cafe complet s'il vous plait." Others As Rillifane said, you can get an affordable "French" breakfast in any caf茅. This would probably consist of baguette with butter and jam, or croissant or pain au chocolat and a hot drink. As for a washateria, I found one that was 500 meters away in Neuilly (A Votre Service - 23 r Sablonville 92200 NEUILLY SUR SEINE), which is on the opposite side of the ring road from your hotel. The 17th is a pretty posh neighborhood so there aren't that many! Have fun. An American in Paris |
