Are there ENGLISH signs on trains from Paris to Italy? I dont want to get lost?

Travel Info
I heard that french are such a SNOB and would not help any tourist who doesnt know their language.

Travel Tips
The signs will be in French but as long as you know where you're going, the name of the place will be the same. There are lots of signs with universally understood symbols. You will be fine, and the French people who speak English will be helpful.
Others
The signs will probably be in English and French.
I've never been there but I would expect that, in a city as heavily visited by tourists as Paris, you'll see quite a few signs in English. Italy too, likely, as long as you don't get too far away from the tourist sites.

As for the French being snobs to tourists, well, I can't comment from experience. I've heard that, in Paris anyway, they can be a bit snobbish when it comes to a foreigner speaking French if they don't do it with a perfect accent. The Italians on the other hand, from what I understand, are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to help you out (even if you don't speak perfect, or any, Italian).
They are not very keen to help if you ambush them and speak loudly in English as if to an idiot (which is an experience I had and did not enjoy). French politeness is rather formal. Most people will help if you start with bonjour, do you speak english?

As for signs, there are multi-lingual signs on trains but in stations they are in French. You have icons next to the words, and the names of cities are very close in both languages. You won't get lost.
