Which is the convenient airport in paris to reach from zurich/geneva? |
Travel Info my purpose is to stay in paris for sight seeing for two days/one night we ae a group of four suggest hotels and near by metro . if metros run from the suggested airport? advance thanks for replies!! Travel Tips Definitely Roissy/Charles de Gaulle Airport is the most convenient. At least 7 flights a day arrive from Geneva. Most convenient and economical way to get ot Paris from CDG is by bus (I use it all the time as a local). Roissybus (Paris - Op茅ra / Charles de Gaulle airport, leave from gates 1, 2 and 3). ROISSYBUS is a special bus service that links the Charles de Gaulle airport and "Opera", in Paris. Travel time : between 45 and 60 minutes. Timetable valid from Monday to Sunday Departure : Opera (at the angle of rue Scribe and rue Auber) Bus intervals : 15 minutes between 6 a.m. - 7 p.m. and 20 minutes between 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. 8.50 Euro each way I hightly reccommend this little boutique hotel in the Opera area. It is very convenient in terms of your short stay and easy access to transportation not only to and from the airport, but also around all the districts in Paris: Hotel Paris Louvre Opera Paris 4, rue des Moulins 75001 Paris France +33 (0)1 40 20 01 10 +33 (0)1 40 20 01 30 http://www.paris-paris.com/hotel_louvre_... Great metro map: http://www.paris-tourist-information.co.... Have to visit the Latin Quarter (most fun) Purple Line 4 easiest way to get there from Opera - yellow Line 1 From just these two areas, Opera and Latin Quarter you can pretty much hit all the hight lights of Paris. There is a great Starbucks near Opera Metro in district 1 and Odeon in the Latin Quarter district 6 - if you're a addict. Ok that is all i have time for at the moment. If you need further assistance feel free to contact me. From Orly there is a bus into the city. Beauvais requires a taxi ride to the train station. |
