What is the best way to get from Avignon, France to Orly Airport in Paris? |
Travel Info I am planning to purchase a roundtrip ticket on TGV from Paris to Avignon for a 4 day stay in the Provence area. Where should I return to in Paris to be closest and the easiest transfer to Orly? Travel Tips You have to come back in the center of Paris before to go to Orly (South of Paris). The best way is to take the TGV until Gare de Lyon in Paris, then RER A (train in Paris) between Gare de Lyon and Chatelet les Halles ( 7-10min), and after RER B between Chatelets les Halles and -first choice Denfert-Rochereau (10 min) and "navette" (bus) until Orly -second choice Antony (25 - 30 min) and "navette" until Orly (closer to Orly so you avoid more traffic jam:) but it is a little bit more expensive) Source(s): I have lived for 2 years near Orly on RERB line and I come from the south of France:) Other Travel Tips Well, the the Orlybus leaves form the m茅tro/RER station at Denfert-Rochereau. |
