Anyone know what the story is with the 'batofar ' ? Night clubs on boats?

I've heard vague references to these and would like to know more and perhaps add it to my Paris experiences list for my trip next year. (Apology for lack of spelling knowledge!)

Its moored at 11 Quai Fran莽ois Mauriac in the 13th arrondissement.

Get there by taking either Metro line 14 or Bus #72 to the Biblioth猫que Fran莽ois Mitterrand stop.
