I am visiting London in September. Would I be able to see much of Paris on a day pass via the chunnel?

Travel Tips
On a day trip you can do some of the major monuments, Eiffel Tower, Arc de triomphe, Notre Dame. If you start early and with the Eiffel tower you will be able to go up (long waiting for tickets)

If you finish by Notre Dame, you can afterwards take a stroll around Ile de la Cit茅 and the Quartier Latin and/or the Ve arrondissement.

In a day you won't be able to see any of the museums though. The Louvre is much too big and interesting to do in one day. Or you can do it like some other tourists, run through the aisles without looking, stop at the Mona Lisa, comment on how small it is in reality and than leave. ;-)

But seriously, some monuments in a day is OK, a little strolling without a map, get lost a bit (it's OK, you always find a metro station somewhere) and than back to London.
For your next holiday you can plan a real visit of Paris and stay for a week or longer, and then... so much to do, so much to see, so much to eat.... Source(s): Native
Other Travel Tips
No, to see the "must see" places of Paris you need at least two weeks, but, I suggest you to do a tour with the Open Bus (there are 4 lines with connection between them) and , in 4-5 hours you'll have a general image of this gorgeous city. You'll be back, trust me. Bon voyage !
First off, the Euro Star ride takes 2 hrs 40 minutes from London and there is a time change working against you on the way into France. Check the departure and arrival times for the train and book your reservation early if you still want to go for the day. It also takes the same time returning and you have to catch the last train out of Paris to get back to London. This will tell you how much time you actualy have to spend in Paris. Then make best use of the time you have by knowing exactly where you want to go and what you have time to see so you don't waste time running around doing nothing and seeing nothing. It's a beautiful city with lots to see and some planning will go a long way to helping you to enjoy the few hours you will have. Bon chance!
Just had a 10 day visit.
