Kate and her sister Fiona Lamont personally oversee a wine and food business that encompasses a 10,000 case winery, sourcing grapes from 3 viticultural regions (Swan Valley, Margaret River and Frankland River), two cellar doors (Margaret River and Swan Valley) a CBD restaurant (East Perth), and a beautiful lakeside winery restaurant at Yallingup (Margaret River wine region). Ms Lamont has more than two decades of experience in the food and wine tourism industry and she is the current Chairman of Tourism Western Australia. Travel Tips When we are in the city we always head to the Witch's Cauldron for garlic prawns! Yum! I have fond memories of Leeuwin Estate in Margaret River - the restaurant there is lovely and the accompanying wines really make the meal. I went there with my family once and would definitely go back. I also love going to Fremantle and pigging out on fresh seafood at Cicerellos the atmosphere is cheerful and the food is always great.
