What is there to do in Perth and other parts of W.A.? |
Travel Info I'm going to Western Australia in Feburay for a couple of weeks with my husband. I haven't been there is years so I don't know what kind of attractions W.A. has to offer. We are not planning on going north of Perth at all. We are hoping to see many of the small towns south of Perth. We are already planning on going to the Big Day Out, but what else is there to do? Travel Tips Whilst in Perth head to Freamantle markets and the beach, they have heaps of clubs, pubs and restaurants there, is a pretty beach town you could even take a tour of the prison, Check Cottesloe beach out, very yuppy.....go to Subiaco or Northbridge . When you head down south make sure you check out Margaret River and its famous beaches, take a Bushtucker wine tour, its really affordable and great for meeting fun back packers and other people looking for fun. Head to the chocolate factory when your there. Try to head over to Pemberton and the Valley of the Giants where you can take a scary walk on a suspended walk at the top of ancient forest trees...if you have vertigo don't do it because its mesh flooring and you can see the ground through it....there is heaps to do I love WA all the way!
