What is there to do on a Saturday Night鈥? |
Travel Info 鈥r on any night for that matter? I鈥檓 a forty something American man who鈥檚 about to move out to your wonderful country (hopefully permanently), to meet and be with an amazing Aussie woman of similar age. She lives about 15 minutes south Bussleton and although she (being a native of the region and all) would like to show me around the area, I鈥檓 sure there are places that even she hasn鈥檛 even thought of going to for fun or entertainment. Were both into art and cinema, we both like to cook (me) and eat out (her), and we鈥檙e both interested in nature and photography. I also like good bookstores, seeing as I鈥檓 also writer. By the way, she also has two young children. Any suggestions you might have would be appreciated. Thanks! The area is AMAZING to travel in, both for you guys and the kids. Your photos will be great cos the natural wonders are stunning. It is a wine area so you get fab wines, cheese, and food. A lot of the Margaret River and Pemberton area is great for eating. My pick of places to go are: - The Bussleton underwater observatory - In Yalingup, there are caves. My fave was Lake Cave. - The Centennial and Bi-Centennial Trees for climbing - The treetop walk - Wineries in Maragret River and Pemberton Wherever there are sand dunes, kids can go sand-boarding. It is so much fun for kids and adults. There are also the beaches and a few lagoons as well for swimming, surfing etc. Good luck and I hope you have fun.
