Is it possible to rent only a bedroom in someone's house for around $300 a month, for a period of roughly 3 months? I will pay for my own laundry detergent, and food. I am a Male, and a none smoker, in my middle 50s, love animals, and being near the beach, if possible walking distance to a beach, I don't mind walking 3kms to the beach, as I do this in Canada already during good weather.

I think the going rate for room rental in Perth now is about $80-$150 a week (AUD), depending on the location of the place. If you're looking for somewhere walking distance to the beach, you may need to head farther afield, either north or south, where coastal properties are not as expensive as those in Perth and its suburbs (where they can sell for upwards of 3 million). If you need to be in Perth, then I would suggest looking around the Fremantle area as it is coastal and you may still find a reasonable price for a room. |
