Travel Info My girlfriends and I intend to take a short break. They suggested Perth (Australia). I heared its a dull place. What do u think? Travel Tips I was born and raised in Perth and now live in California. Perth IS dull, and I would suggest (as someone else has) going to Sydney, Melbourne or Queensland. While Perth is a lovely, clean city, and it really depends on what you are looking for and want to see, it's not a very exciting place. You wont have a terrible time there, the people are really nice, but you will have a lot more fun in other places in Oz. Have a great trip. Source(s): 30 years of living there! Other Travel Tips My brother is working there and he loves it but if you are looking for a holiday i would recomend Qeensland or Sydney or some other part of NSW ....i have never been to Perth but i have heard it is a bit dull too. I think up north would be more fun. Perth is generally not considered "the place to be", but the Margaret River district in Western Australia is a very popular domestic travel destination. Nice wines, nice cheese, nice views, you can have a very relaxing time there. Still, if you're travelling with a group of girlfriends, you'd probably want something more exciting, so definitely don't bother with Perth! dated a Perth guy Well, I have lived in Perth my entire life and I love it to bits! It IS a little dull, but you can always visit AQWA or the Bell Tower. The highlight of Perth is Kings Park and the view of the city from there is awesome. |
