What is the cheapest way to send parcels to Australia?

Travel Info
I am moving to Australia and have some items such as boxes of personal photographs and childrens toys which are too large to be taken as luggage on the plane journey. I need to find the cheapest way of taking them with me.

Travel Tips
USPS would be the best if you have one or 2 boxes.. you may want to consider airfreight or freightliner. I am moving to Perth from the USA and have researched that specific question. Which way would be best to move my things over there. If you do decide to go with the freight, then may I suggest UPakWeShip. They are moving my things from my house to Perth Australia, next month.

Others
That would probably be the USPS, or the Post Office. They seem to have the cheapest prices. My husband is deployed overseas, and it only costs me $22 - $25 to send him a 10 - 12 lb printer box full of stuff.
