My name is Timothy, I live in Rockingham! in W.A I live near Palm Beach, I know a few good holiday homes, there is the palm beach B&B on Thorpe St, you have to check the community newspaper or west australian for that though, Actualy thats all I know (lol), there is a hotel called comfort in rockingham beach which is on the far end (kent st) of the esplande. HEY THERE....Just sold my house in Waikiki Rockingham ,i spent many years there.My opinion is to perhaps steer away from ,kent st and rockingham hotel lodgings.I have stayed at inn/motel in rockingham beach in between Kentucky fried chicken and ten pin bowling...Patterson road(maybe ph these neighbours)I cannot remember their name but the location is good if your up for the nightlife and beach.I've always been curious about the Leisure inn accomodation,they party till 2am fri/sat night and then a free bus takes all to the nightclubs in rockingham beach area(the only night clubs and x1 strip bar)The Boardwalk,railway terrace Palm Beach(i think these are the new upgraded local accomodation)Port Kennedy tavern,i like eating here,though a 10-15 min drive to central rockingham.George and the dragon(this a tiny pub that i think you may not want to stay at?)Waikiki Motel which is hell basic but pretty good location.There is more in the Safety bay area andI not sure of any others but if you get stuck there is like some places between rockingham and mandurah,Mandurah is where the 'resorts' etc are...Although i don't know why Rockingham is better place.Try the tourists bureau...they should give you the info you need,the local papers and link are not the best for resources.Actually even try your search engine as i know there is some helpful sites available.....BONNE CHANCE |
