Go over to Rottnest Island, cycle, snorkel, swim or just laze.
Cottesloe or Scarborough beaches if you still want more surf, sand and sights.
Perth Zoo.
A ferry ride up the Swan River.
Visit Fremantle markets, Maritime Museum and Fremantle Jail.

Others
you could go see the pinnacles, Freo northbridge or skydiving in pinjarra, walk in the valley of the giants down south,lots 2 do.
During chritmas, it would be summer and its very hot where good for water activities.
