OK - having given this some thought: the coastline of Western Australia is stunning - if you get the chance head north a little (well, quite a way actually) to a place called Monkey Mia where you can swim with the dolphins - your daughter would love it.

From Perth you can take a boat to a place called Rottnest Island. It's beautiful (no cars!) and you'll see funny little wallaby type creatures called Quokkas - they're like big guinea pigs with kangaroo type tails - totally gorgeous - I wanted to bring one home with me.

You must visit Freemantle, just south of Perth. The pubs are fantastic! Have a Tooheys or two (or three) for me and don't forget my Cherry Ripe!

The speedway obviously. Some beautiful scenery, and Rockingham Castle is nice. Check their website, as they have themed weekends sometimes.
