Western Australia has a lot to offer to tourists.

I travelled to Perth last 2002.

Perthians are very friendly as compared to Sydneysiders.
I love our short excursion to Freo and Rottnest Island.
Though the weather is very hot, the Rottnest Island had me thrilled with their unique inhabitant, the quokkas.Quokkas are sweet mammals that looks like a squirrel, rat and rabbit. .

Though Perth is generally quieter than Sydney, I find it a very peaceful place and its very clean. There are convenience stores that closed late and a lot of travel agencies around. If visiting Perth on summer, include a visit to Freo where the air is cooler and its like a small village with nice bar inns. They have great souvenir shops and the internet shops there also offer travel assistance for tourist who want to go to Monkey Mia, Wave Rock etc.
