Is 10 days in Exmouth (west australia) too long if you dont dive? |
Travel Info I am looking at booking a family holiday to Exmouth in October. I have 2 boys aged 9 and 6 and am wondering if 10 nights is too long as after searching the net it appears there isnt much to do there if you dont dive. also can anybody tell me the best place to stay for families. If my kids dont have a good holiday then I wont either!! as they will be whinging the whole time!! thanks Travel Tips Great part of the world. My daughter lives in WA. Assuming you're flying there from Perth. Maybe driving back. Geraldton Monkeymia and the dolphins Ningaloo reef. Pearl farms. Other dive sites on the way down. Camping sites between there and Perth. Hiring a car and caravan. Pretty safe area to drive along. Oh, and to answer your question. Yeah that is way too long. I think even you would go nuts in Exmouth after 10 days. Others no it's not too long i stayed there for two weeks and i had the best time of my life the people are nice and the beaches are beautiful make sure you check them out there great just to lay back and just relax Exmouth is a very small town. The diving is great but there is not much else. The beaches are good, but so are just about all the beaches in WA. If you want a relaxing holiday doing nothing but unwinding and reading a book, Exmouth will be great. If your family has a low boredom tolerance then 10 days is too long. In the words of the promotional travel programs "a great place to relax, catch up on your reading, and go for a bush walk." (translation: there is nothing to do!) |
