Wheres the best areas to emigrate to brisbane or perth with a family?

Travel Tips
Perth has more of a professional base, more jobs and work opportunities than Brisbane. Perth is currently in a boom period which should last the next 8-10 years, however there are mining and sub-division projects starting up in Brisbane which will greatly help their economy. The Education system in Perth is alot stronger in both the private and public sectors as well as the UNI system, but Brisbane is of course close to Sydney which has the best Uni's in the state (so that may be a long term factor), both have easy going beach/water lifestyles and both have excellent places to visit/holiday at. The weather in Brisbane is more of a humid heat where as Perth is more a dry heat. Perth is currently having positive growth in the property sector 15-35% PA, but has now become the second most expensive state in Australia to buy a house, and because of this there continues to be a rental shortage, however Brisbane prices are still reasonable but experiencing growth as well, Public transport in both states is average at best and on par with each other, there are most tax benefits and breaks in Perth. I personally believe Perth is abit more racially diverse than Brisbane which may be a factor.
Having lived in both, I choose Perth for family work and lifestyle reasons, It really depends on ones taste ...... good luck

Either..depends of what climate you are looking for..They are both beautiful places to live in..Go on google and type in each city..everything you want to know will be available to you on this subject..good luck..and if you decide to come here, let me be the first to say..Welcome..
I love them both so it is a difficult pick.
I'd choose Brisbane only because it's on the east coast, nearer to Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Cairns, etc.
Perth has beaches, Brisbane has mud flats.
Brisbane is a bit more urbane I think.
Otherwise it's too difficult to split.
Subiaco in Perth.
Close to beaches and also good access to the city.
Great people too
