How can I get advance information on pubilc transportation in Perth and surrounding area? |
Travel Info I will be visiting for two weeks in March, I just want to get around and "sight-see". I also want to visit the zoo. I have been unable to find a websight with train or bus schedules, can anyone help? Travel Tips Hi, These sites will help you out. Perth zoo is a very good zoo to vistit but its not all that big. If you are staying in the city you can catch the ferry to South perth and then take a short walk there. http://www.perthzoo.wa.gov.au/visit-the-... Perth Transport. http://www.perthtouristcentre.com.au/tra... http://www.countrywide.com.au/suburbs/ma... http://www.railmaps.com.au/perth.htm... http://www.perthzoo.wa.gov.au/ http://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/portals/... Because you have two weeks there, you also have time to take a bus tour down south to Margaret River (great for surfing as well) and visit the winerys. http://www.margaretriver.com/visitmargar... These sites will give you more information on things to do and what to see. http://www.westernaustralia.com/en/... http://www.perthtouristcentre.com.au/... have fun. Others I don't think perth has any public transportation like city buses or anything. I think you need a car so think about renting or maybe they have a taxi service. of course there is public transport in Perth & surrounding areas have a look in here you will find all you want http://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/... yeah..what he said....take his advise and give me the 10points!! :) Don't forget to take the train to Fremantle and the ferry to Rottnest Island. Been there, done that. |
