Where should I stay for two nights? Freemantle or Perth? |
Travel Info Me and my partner are at the tail end of a 30 day cruise which lands in Freemantle. Travel Tips Hi Kate, Have a morning half a day walk around Fremantle, all of the interesting things to see are all very close to each other as well as being close to your ship.Below is a map to do the Fremantle walk. http://www.countrywide.com.au/suburbs/fr... The train station is adjacent to where your ship will dock. If you catch a bus your bus ticket is valid for two hours, that means you can travel on any bus in that time. There are two Highways that go to Perth, Canning Hwy and Stirling Hwy so what you can do is catch the bus to Perth by way of Stirling Highway then return to Fremantle on Canning Hwy. That will give you a quick over view of Perth and it's suburbs. For the short time you are there, the best place to stay would be Burswood Casino. Have a great time while your there. Others I lived in Perth, and it really is a beautifull city. I am partial to the city, so stay there. It has a casino called the Burswood, which my wife and I frequented, very nice. Perth yep, Perth Defenately Perth! I acctually have lived in Perth my whole life and I still do and I gotta say it is a prettty kool place to check out. I've been to Fremantle and stayed there for a while but that wasn't as good as i would've hoped it to be so i got to say Perth because you just go with the flow.... 1 day perth and the other frementle. 2 days at perth would be great as you can enjoy night life there. Frementle is a nice scenic town and I suggest the best time to visit would be on weekends where all the markets are open. I myself living in Perth and its very nice city especially on friday night which is the "city night". I enjoy the city lighting and it is facinating from "king's park's" view. If you come this weekend, please do not forget to catch up with the "Perth Royal Show". cheers. Perth! |
