What are some good things to do in Perth (WA)? |
Travel Info it looks like I'm moving there in Januaray to be with my partner-girlfriend and I want to know of some good things to do on weekends and after work... thanks. Mitch Launceston, Tas Travel Tips It all depends on what types of things you enjoy, but here are some options. In and around Perth: catch the ferry to Rotto, go to King's Park, check out Fremantle, go swimming pretty much anywhere along the coast, have dinner with your partner somewhere on the beachfront and watch the sun set over the ocean - Cottesloe has some options. Take a trip into the southwest and check out the karri forests. If you're still around in spring, head into the hills or north of the city for wild flower season. The Pinnacles can be seen on a longish day trip, or a weekend away. Since you are going in January, try to get to Perth for Australia Day and go to the Skyshow.
