Can anyone tell me about life in New Zealand and the best places to live? |
Travel Info I'm leaning toward Australia, but thought I'd find out about NZ as well. Thanks! Travel Tips I live in NZ and yes it is a beautiful clean country,unfortunately the previous answer is incorrect,we do have mosquitoes and flies and yes there is crime,not as bad as other countries but bad enough to exist. People do own guns,but one must own a license to be able to purchase one,but then it comes back to crime as people can obtain a fire arm illegally. Depending on what you prefer,snow or sun,would help with a decision on where the best places to live here in NZ are. In order to move there you do have to have some money. They do not want bums or people on welfare. That said I highly recommend the little town of Ankara. It is next to the sea and when you go out in a boat you will see dolphins jumping and wonderful caves in the rocks. NZ has no crime and no one owns a gun. There are no predators like flies, mosquitoes, mice, rats, woodchucks, coyotes, snakes etc because it is an island and has extremely strong rules when ships arrive. There is absolutely no litter and towns hold competition for the best front yard gardens. Companies also do it. What is any more idyllic than that? If you find a place please let me know but that is where I would go. Been there! |
