Buying a bodyboard in Perth? |
Travel Info I've never bodyboarded before and want to get started. What kind of board should I buy? How much should it cost? Where can I buy one? Thanks. Travel Tips Go to cash converters or a pawn shop get a crappy old board and fins thrash the s#!t out of it. If you still into it after that then buy a good one. Its not what you ride, it's how good you ride what you got Others Thanks for all your answers guys....., it was hard to pick one! Your normally boogy bord will cost any where in between $20 - $100 dollars. Depending on your body mass you can get lighter or heavier boards. I prefer to have a heavier board as you can get a bit more speed of the wave.. In perth the best place to buy a board is from any surf store or sports store. Ride the waves... The best place would be the surf shops and they can range from $200 up to $700 depending on the quality but you want to best so spend away. It is great fun but remember that you will need some flippers ($50.00), flipper socks are great ($10) and rashie ($40), a leash and a board ($200-300 for a good beginner board). I have always stuck with BZ and they have always been good. In Perth, try Murray Smith Surf Centre Fremantle (08) 9335 1707 |
