What is the best area to rent in Perth with a young family? |
Travel Info We are moving to Perth in two months from New Zealand, with my partner flying in and out to the mines for a month at a time. What I really want to know is what area would be the best for me and my son to rent in? I would love to feel safe, and be reasonably close to the beach and shops. Thanks so much! Travel Tips I live outta Perth, In a quiet town of Kwinana, Its not bad buts it good. Others Hi Wayne It really depends on how much you want to spend a week. Also how many bedrooms etc you want. Do you want a house with a backyard or an apartment or a villa? www.realestate.com.au will give you an idea of what you can get for your money. When you say close to beach - how close do you mean? walking distance, driving distance (10 minutes or 30 minutes) most of perth is spread along the coast so there are ltos of places near the coast however they are not that close to airport so would perhaps have to travel bit to airport. SOme of the most expensive suburbs in perth are cottesloe, swanbourne, city beach - they are on the beach and close to the city. Otherwise you could look perhaps rockingham (south) or brighton (north) these are close to beach but not so close to the city. If you are a little more specific on your wants i may be able to give you some more info. good luck Haay! In Perth there are several aspects to consider when finding a rental house. What kind of scchool will your son be enrolled in? You may wish to consider this when selecting an aera to live in. There are lots of aeras that are near the beach, but of course you will have to consider your budget when selcting one. The extremely high end real estate will be in places like Peppermint Grove and Cottesloe beach. I suppose some aeras like city beach would be above an average home, but not too expensive. There are places in Trigg and Karrinyup that may be quite close to the beach. Other placers like that may be in the hillarys, sorrento and Whitfords beach. Howver i am not too sure how much it would cost to rent a home in house aeras. The places i have listed may not have shops too close, but they all have shoping malls that are a short walk or drive away. There is Karrinyup shopping centre and Whitfords shopping centre. Trigg is very close to Karrinyup. Inaloo shopping cnetere is quite close to places like City beach. All the places i have listed are north or the Swan river, as i am not farmilar with the south of the river. I hoped i helped! Good luck finding a suitabe home, and enjoy Perth, the beaches are so awesome here!!!!! living in Perth Ellenbrook is one of the most rewarded communities in that area. There are several parks, schools and shopping all in walking distance. Everything you need is right there. It's only about 15 min from Hilarys Mother lives there. Claremont is perfect south Perth is reasonable |
