I don't know about hotels but worth visiting are Fremantle, Kings Park and Perth zoo would be good for kids too.
You posted the same question 5 times in the Australian forum.

That's pretty annoying.
Go camping on Rottnest Island, you can hire the tents there.
For fun hire bikes. Go Swimming, Snorkeling and Fishing.

Take the wife and kids to Yanchep National Park, there are Crystal Caves to explore, hire a boat and badle around on Lake Yanchep and take a picnic lunch with you.
There are heaps of things there to do that your kids will love.
It's less than an hours drive north of Perth.

If your kids are hooked on Pirates of the Caribbean try the shipwreck museum in Fremantle. If you are Lucky the Duyfkin will be in port and you can go for a wander over a replica dutch scout ship. You can really spend a few days wandering around Fremantle looking at some great historical sites, including the gaol and the round house (which was also a gaol). For dome reason Poms love London Court. Don't forget to Slip, Slop, Slap and visit a beach.

As for hotels, I can't really recommend one. Burswood isn't really family orientated, Rendezvous Observation city is too far away. Have you given some thought to serviced appartments?
try, Fremantle" Beach Street Resort" Studio apartments and accommodation.. in the yellow pages 5 beach, fremantle.

Indian Ocean Hotel: 3half star ocean views 24 hour reception, spa, pool, toll free: 1300 765 431.

for lunch or dinner:Moondyne Joe's: hotel and bistro: 73 wray av, fremantle. 94305513.
www.moondynejoes.com.au.

lots to do in fremantle theres jet boating, fremantle prison, if you can drive a little further to Bibra lake you will find Adventure World about 20min drive. or even further, Kalamunda Wet n' Wild. about 40min drive
good luck.
p.s.
checkout: www.countrywide.com.au. its a guide of perth and freo.
