Where in Perth?

Travel Info
Im planning to go on a tour to perth next month and have some "fun" with girls. Where can I possibly find a girl to date? How open is gay life in Perth?

Travel Tips
Check out Northbridge which is a suburb in inner Perth and has heaps of pub bands and restaurants,I AM SURE YOU WILL FIND WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR THERE.

Not really that sure (being straight myself), but Connections Nightclub in Northbridge is definitely a hotspot. In general Perth is quite conservative, but contains some eclectic scenes. You just need to get in with the right crowd.
I'm not sure about gay life, but I haven't heard anyone condemning it here! Anyways, I'll agree with what griv has to say!
Just came back from Perth a few days ago. Best place i found was a little place called the Brisbane. Nice place. Good people. Nice prices. Hope you have a good time! :)
As mentioned before, Connections is a great spot. However there are a couple of tucked away places in Fremantle - try Sunday sessions at Little Creatures - some of the waitresses there are okay too. Best to hang out with locals and check it out. Generally the gay community integrates with the straight community so you might just have to go to a pub / club and try your luck. Have a great time. I live in Perth and love it here.
Connections is closed for renovations at the moment so The Court is the other main gay bar- I think its better-not as seedy as "Connies" and heaps of fun. There are many other gay friendly bars like Euro bar, the Queens and Geisha. Perth's gay scene is pretty open, esp when it comes to Pride in October! Hang out at funky hot-spots such as Freo, Leederville and Mt Lawley. U will have a ball here!
Gay life is very insular. You really need to know people to get along in Perth. But we're all a friendly bunch.

Brisbane is straight, but very nice.

Court is very gay, but a bit dodgy. Had renovations since, and I think they are trying to turn it into a straight bar.

Connections is very gay. You're typical gay nightclub really. It's oldest gay nightclub in the Southern Hemisphere, open for 25 years (maybe more), so it has a bit of a history.

Luxe Hotel in Mount Lawley is very cool in a Sunday night, mixed croud, dress to impress, that sort of thing.

Queens Hotel in Mount Lawley is great for a Saturday / Sunday afternoon drink in the sun with the girls, however if you want something a bit more sophisticated then across the road is the Must Winebar which is very nice... (One of my favourites)

Other than that, I think they have a regular Pride Sundowner at the Grapeskin Wine Bar in Northdridge for Lesbians only, not sure of the dates but I think they advertise on the webpage (www.pridewa.asn.au). And if you are a professional there is also Fruits in Suits, which is a regular thing every month or so, for gay and lesbian people that work in the city.

Heaps to do, much of it during the Summer months. A lot of it should be posted on the website.

Enjoy.
