What sort of soap? do you mean laundry detergents/cleaners or do you meand "facial" soap that people use to wash hands face etc?
For cleaning laundry products I suggest the local supermarket.
For facial soaps there are more options than I can think of.
Supermarkets, most corner shops, chemists often have unusual scents or textures, large variety stores like Kmart, some of those stores like Oxfam that sell things from o'seas underprivledged people often have things like sandlewood or cinnamon soaps, chech out local markets and craft shops that sell finished products for unusual hand made soaps, plant nurseries usually have some plant based ones, discount stores for some on the cheap. I doubt whether there would ba shop in the country that wouldnt have at least one cake of soap on hand.
