What is the water rate of an apartment? |
Travel Info I am new to Perth housing, but I am told that the water rate for an apartment is $814. a) What is the meaning of this "water rate"? b) If I am renting the apartment out, who should pay this "water rate"? The owner or the tenant? Travel Tips Check with your local council. In Vic the occupier pays water rates, the owner pays council rates. Either way, the occupier will certainly pay for water usage. And Water Rates generally means the charges on the water bill over and above the usage. It covers things like connections, sewage, parks etc. Others I think you only pay for water in a HOUSE not an apartment or unit. Well, that's the way it is in NSW anyway. |
