Housing Investment in the suburb of West Perth? |
Travel Info I am thinking of a buying a new apartment at mayfair in the suburb of west perth. It is near the CBD, close to the university of western australia, separated by king's park. Hopefully, I can rent to someone studying in the university or someone working in the CBD. It is still not as expensive as Crawley, and my budget is between 400k to 600k. Any advice please? Thank you. Travel Tips There will be heap of nice apartments available in West Perth area for that price. Don't forget though that students don't generally like to pay a lot for rent -seeing as they can't work full time. But I think there would be lots of rental interest anywhere at the moment considering the fact that people are lining up to view rental properties and paying over the asking price just to be considered! Check out reiwa.com.au Others Just beware that you are coming into a market that is currently at a fairly high point (although its slipped a little recently). The market may rise again around June. Rental market returns are potentially very good at the moment, but what out for new legislation that may place restrictions on rent changes. |
