Travel Tips yeah.it's like being back to normal. daylight saving time seems like imposing something that does not exist. it seems really vague. Others i don't give a bugger about W.A just wish we here in Q.L,D will have it the sooner the better Yes. It is a ridiculous imposition that goes against previous referendums. Fortunately QLD is holding out as it would be even more foolish for a state where even more of it extends into tropical or near tropical latitudes. The term 'daylight saving' is a farce as there is no saving. You just steal daylight from one part of the day and add it to another. That may be beneficial in the latitudes of Tasmania, where daylight is so much longer, but in states where many parts are virtually tropical and have 12 hour day/12 hour nights it is absurd. No doubt the cretins in Brisbane and the Gold Coast will win out just like the cretins in Perth, exercising no consideration for the rest of the state. The only good thing about losing Daylight Savings, is gaining an hour! |
