Travel Info What are your experiences about traveling to Peru? Travel Tips I am going there in June and I have heard it is supposed to be a beautiful country with friendly people. I am starting off in Lima and am staying in the Miraflores neighborhood with is more affluent and safe than the rest of the town (from what I have read). I am also visiting Macchu Picchu and the Amazon. If you're looking for a tour company to go with, check out Adventure Center (www.adventurecenter.com). They have great trips of all price ranges and lengths. Others i have never been there..but i am thinking about go there at summer, ther problem is....is there very hot in summer?? as ur wish but I love Peru. It's a third world country. Machu Piccu is amazingly beautiful. I've never seen anything more wonderful. Peru is full of great places to visit, Lima, Cuzco, Arequipa, Macchu Picchu. There is so much to see and do, if you like history, architecture, adventure sports, great nightlife, nature...you can find it all. Of course not everything is cool,you should be careful like in any big city, don't show off jelwery, cameras, etc, don't go through dark places. I'm American but I lived in Peru for a bit, Lima and Arequipa. I had a great time, but you should be wary about where you eat. Anyway, Machhu Picchu is amazing and so is Cuzco. Arequipa is also very cool but Lima is...just a big city, if you've seen one you've seen them all. Anyway, I'd say check it out. |
