i go every april, it's chilly at night, rains some - need sweater/sweatshirt and windbreaker; hot days hiking (shorts and tanktop) offseason, not crowded - there are no ATM's in aguas calientes - stay at gringo bill's

I went on may and july and it was cold. I know that when is summer on the coast is winter on the mountains and right now is the end of summer here in Lima. Its warm on the day and cold on the night, sometimes there's heavy rain. When there's rain is not good to go on to Machu Pichu
and the Waina Pichu...you get mud and its dangerous.
