Travel Tips
San Isidro. It is one of the nicer Distruicts in Lima (Lima is Divided in Districts, as opposed as Counties).

The wealthiest people live in this area , now they also live in some other areas starting developing more to the west of Lima.

San Isidro has A very large Golf Club, kind of the "Central Park" in Manhattan, surrounded by ritzy buildings. The Golf Club is private and for members only, but people roller skate and run around it.

Nice shops, exclusive boutiques and restaurants and cinemas are found, as well as the bank district.

The "Olivar" park is famous, in it only Olive trees grow and there are stories and books about it, it use to supply the Spanish conquerors with olives when in South America, so some of these trees are hundreds of years old. Picking olives is prohibited.

There are some ruins or "Huaca" with a small museum on site.
Huaca Huallamarca "Pre-Inca adoration place, pyramidal huaca built with adobes (bricks made with mud)"

Hope it helps. Source(s): http://www.hotelposadalima.com/location....
