Travel Info Why are the citizens of Peru angry about the signing of the Libre Comercio? Travel Tips Maybe because in the past, everytime Per煤 (or any other southamerican country for that matter) signed a commercial agreement with another country, the Government said "it麓s for the better.We麓ll make tons of money, we麓ll export a lot of goods, our industry will finally raise, blablah, " and nothing ever happened, and the country was forced to buy foreign items, instead of having humdreds of new jobs because the factories were re-opening due to the possible exportation. Maybe this time is for real and people can麓t believe it anymore. Plus if it happens to be true for once, exporting tons of Peruvian products will make those products or items麓prices rise , so people won麓t be able to buy those at a fair price.and maybe citizens are fearing they will lacking of certain good, as well as end up having imports that they don麓t really need. Unfortunately, Governments had lied so many times in the past that maybe nobody believes this will be for the better this time.(I麓m not Peruvian, but this has been happening in every southamerican country for ages) Source(s): http://www.amazon.com/gp/produ...
