Urubamba's a little pokey village ... the best place to compare it to is Cusco. I found this site that tells you what it will be like in July/August. It looks like during the day it doesn't waver much. But during this time at night it will dip to freezing. And believe me, it can be COLD up high in the mountains at night!!!

Not much precip. though ... meaning clear blue skies all the time for great views!
