If you were to go to Peru, which of these 3 places would you go to first? |
Travel Info Manu, Iquitos or Arequipa? And why? Travel Tips DEFINATELY MANU IF YOU WANT TO SEE SOMENTHIG DIFERENT .SPECIALY IF YOU LIKE THE OUT DOORS ,BEATIFULL RIVERS 600 VARIETIES OF BIRDS,MONKIES,FLOWERS.AND WILD LIFE IN GENERAL IQUITOS IS DIRTY AND YOU NEED TO LEAVE THE CITY,AND AREQUIPA IS A CITY BUILD BY SPANIARDS 400 YEARS AGO WITH WHITE LAVA ROCK,MORRISH STYLE ITS ADVISABLE TO SEE IT ON A FULL MOON SO YOU SEE THE SPLENDOR Others I would go to Manu because it is a very developped place full of the Perucian culture everywhere around. firstly i would to lost city of machu picchu.....inca trail,secondly to lake titicaca and sacred valley town of pisaq. my knowledge I've been to Peru before. The first place I went to was Cuzco. From there to Iquitos and Arequipa. I did not go to Manu. Will go on my next trip to Peru. It depends on what your interests are.... Arequipa is a beutifull Peruvian colonial city with spectacular andean views (and with one the most delicious food in Peru, try the "Rocoto relleno"), Iquitos is the largest city in the rain forest of Peru, And Manu is a huge and fairly inaccessible biosphere reserve located in Madre de Dios and Cuzco... If you are a nature lover your options would be between Iquitos and Manu. Manu being your best choice for this as it is nearly untouched by civilization, most of the people within the park are indians, mostly from four different native groups: the Machiguenga (or Yora), the Mascho-Piro, the Yaminahua and the Amahuaca. But never the less if you go to Manu, you are near Cuzco so you should go there too. There are the most spectacular ancient ruins of the Incan Empire. Where ever you go you'll love it, Peru is a wonderfull country with hundreds of beautifull places to go...
