The electrical voltage in Peru is 220 volts. so be carefull if you use electrical appliances from USA or other 110 volts countries as it would ruin it! Electrical sockets here are those with two parallel lineal holes...
Nevertheless you can buy in almost every Peruvian Hardware store ("ferreteria") a 220 to 110 volts converter ("transformador").
