Other Travel Tips the pollution is so bad in Lima i personally don't think it matters smog and car fumes make it disgusting December is the middle of summer. The days will get to about 85 F, and most days sunny in the summer. The beaches in Lima will be crowded, but if you go a little to the North, or South you can find some beautiful beaches. I have been there in all seasons, and didn't find a problem with smog..... It depends, it can be the end of spring or the beginning of summer. In the southern hemisphere, summer starts on December 22nd. Lima during this season will be sunny and warm and the temperature should be around 26-28 degrees Celsius. It is the middle of the summer and very very warm and humid. I was in Peru for Christmas last year (including Lima and Arequipa). It's summer in December and the weather was warm and sunny - and at times very, very hot especially in the city. |
