Is it safe to book tours over the internet for South America?? |
Travel Info I need to book the Inca Trail and another tour (in Bolivia and Chile) over the internet - has anyone ever done this and found that they got their money stolen etc? Is it reliable, is it safe?? p.s. I'm booking from Australia... Is it safe, as long as you take precautions, get a safe as soon as you get into any new country and never have all your documents and money in the same place on your person at the same time... People do get robbed there but that will happen anywhere... I would not book the inca trail or others over the internet. When you get to Cusco, Peru there are many tour companies in the town Plaza. There you can deal with them on a personal basis and I am sure it is much cheaper. The same goes with tours in Chile and Bolivia. yeah it better than getting them when ur in South America |
