It's still going on! For me, life - just plain breathe-in-and-out life is the greatest adventure. And come to think of it, death must be another huge adventure .. heading out into a vast unknown, the start of a whole new journey - though I don't really want to start travelling yet, I'm still enjoying THIS adventure :-)
In 1975, we took 41 Girl Scouts on a 3-week bus trip from Long Island, New York, to the Girl Scout National Center in Ten Sleep, Wyoming. 41 girls, 6 women, a bus driver (male) with an impacted wisdom tooth, and an inoperable bathroom on the bus!

Once we got Dan to a dentist and got his tooth fixed, everything was wonderful! We stopped each night and set up our tents and cooked dinner on charcoal grills. Each morning we broke camp, packed up the bus, and moved on. We crossed saw the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, camped in the Black Hills of South Dakota, marched in the Independence Day parade in Cody, Wyoming, and spent a wonderful week at the National Center. On the trip home, we went to Yellowstone National Park and had a snowball fight; saw the Grand Tetons; whitewater rafted in the Snake River; survived a major thunderstorm in Kanab, Utah; spent a couple of nights at the Grand Canyon; visited the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest; fished in Norman, Oklahoma; took a riverboat ride in Memphis; camped in the Great Smokey Mountains; and watched a tow truck pull our bus out of the mud in Luray, Virginia.

I've done a lot of traveling over the years and have seen most of our 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii. I've been to Europe, Mexico, South America, the Caribbean, and Canada. Most of these trips were great, but the Girl Scout Trek was truly and adventure!

P.S. Everyone survived!
I had a few, greenland, tibet alaska, actually I have several more I can list so I cant really say now ! since i have toured the entire world its now harder to think and single out just one
My greatest adventure was taking my sailboat across the Atlantic Ocean from Cuba to Sweden. Seeing a new continent appear on the horizon from the deck of a small craft is a powerful experience indeed.
