The Executive branch (Which is the President and his ministers), the Legislative branch (the Congress) and the Judicial branch (the judges). The president and the congress are elected on the same time every 5 years. Peru is one of the few countries in the world where all the adults have to vote. The president can be re-elected once but those those two administrations can't be consecutive. Peru is a democratic republic as most of the countries in South America.
